Mukthi

Once upon a time there lived a great saint in a small monastery. The whole country goes to him for salvation and healing. One fine day a poor carpenter came to the saint and said "Guruji, help me to attain salvation, show me the path of Mukthi".
The Saint looked at him and said "go and do your work".
The carpenter went back home disheartened, he worked very hard and become very rich but his thirst to know the truth never slept. After several years again he went back to the Saint once again.
He looked at the saint and asked "Guruji, I am rich and seen everything in life, also am old now  so please help me to attain salvation"
The saint smiled and said "go and do your work"
The carpenter was furious yet out of respect left the place and went to his own village and never returned.
The Saint at his last stage of life, found that he was not in peace with the carpenter, hence to make peace he called out for the carpenter but to his disappointment no one knew about him or his place.
The Saint thought it would be good to find the carpenter no matter how hard it is because without seeing him, the saint found that he cannot attain his own salvation now.
One fine morning he left the monastery with couple of his disciples and went in search of the carpenter. They passed for days and months till find a village full of wonderful buildings with art and cravings, they stopped there and asked a passer by, "what is this village name and who is the one who make such great art in wood" The passer by looked at them and said "our great master on the hill teaches us to work with wood and every single person in this village knew wood work and the best of this countries carpentry goes from here..."
The saint hesitantly asked where he can find the great master. The passer by took them to the great master, the Saint found the Carpenter there working, as the Carpenter was surprised on seeing the Saint he fell at his feet. The saint took him in hand and said "Great Master, grant me Salvation"
